It’s your time to bloom.

Sunflowers are strong and sturdy flowers that represent happiness, optimism, loyalty, and love. In China, sunflowers symbolize longevity and long life. In other indigenous cultures, these magical blossoms signify fertility, nourishment, the circle of life, and healing. And above all else, they are my favorite flower and bring me joy and happiness every time I see them. I hope they do the same for you as well!

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers, clear communication, and care you can feel good about.

What makes Sunflower Bloom different from other clinics?

We prioritize relationship-based care. That means longer conversations, individualized treatments, trauma-aware pacing, and an emphasis on emotional safety alongside physical healing. Many patients come to us after feeling dismissed elsewhere and are looking for something more human and collaborative.

Has anything changed with the practice recently?

There have been business-side changes, but the heart of the practice remains the same. Our values—transparency, integrity, compassion, and personalized care—continue to guide everything we do.

Do I need to have experience with acupuncture or Chinese medicine?

Not at all. We take time to explain the process, answer your questions, and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Is acupuncture painful?

This is one of the most common concerns—and the answer is usually no. Acupuncture needles are extremely thin (about the width of a cat’s whisker). If you feel anything at insertion, it’s often brief and mild—similar to a tiny mosquito bite or a light sensation of pressure. Most people find treatments deeply relaxing and are surprised by how gentle the experience feels.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your goals, how long symptoms have been present, and how your body responds to care. Some people notice shifts within a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer-term approach. We’ll talk openly about recommendations and adjust your plan as we go—nothing is ever one-size-fits-all.

What if I’ve had complex or long-standing health concerns?

Many of our patients come with layered histories—chronic symptoms, emotional stress, and long journeys through the healthcare system. You don’t need a simple story to be welcome here.

How do I know what services are right for me?

We figure that out together. Your initial visit includes a thorough conversation and assessment so we can create a plan that feels appropriate and supportive for you.

Are you currently accepting new patients?

Yes, we are welcoming both new and returning patients.
